Julie Easton, Principal Designer

Julie Easton is the Principal Designer at Just Kitchen + Bath, creating kitchens and baths throughout New England that are as functional as they are beautiful. She combines artistic vision with technical expertise to develop highly personalized spaces that reflect the way each client lives.

An artist at heart with a natural talent for technical problem-solving, Julie brings a unique balance of creativity and precision to every project. She enjoys the details that often go unseen—cabinet construction, space planning, workflow, storage solutions, lighting, and the countless decisions that transform a renovation from good to exceptional.

Clients appreciate Julie’s ability to listen. Rather than designing around trends or a signature style, she believes every project should be a reflection of the people who live there. Her process is collaborative, intentional, and carefully tailored to each client's lifestyle, resulting in spaces that feel authentic, enduring, and deeply personal.

With a deep understanding of the complexities involved in remodeling, Julie guides clients through each phase of the process with clarity and confidence. From initial concepts to final selections, she brings organization, expertise, and a discerning eye to every decision, creating an experience that feels as seamless as the finished space.

Throughout her career, Julie has earned the trust of homeowners through her expertise, and seemingly effortless ability to create kitchens and baths that not only look beautiful but genuinely improve the way people live every day.

Alicia Waller, Studio Manager

Alicia brings a unique blend of business strategy, project management, and design experience to JKB Design Studio. She earned her degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont in 2016 before spending four years as a District Manager with Aldi and another four years at Orvis, where she worked as an Item Planner and Buyer, developing a strong foundation in merchandising, planning, and client-focused decision making.

Her passion for design became deeply personal when she and her husband built their family home from the ground up. Working alongside a skilled father-and-son builder, Alicia managed the design, selections, budgeting, and countless details that transformed an empty site into a home tailored to their family's life.

Today, Alicia combines her organizational expertise with a love for thoughtful, functional design to help guide projects from concept through completion. She enjoys collaborating with clients, coordinating the many moving pieces behind each project, and creating spaces that are as practical as they are beautiful.

Alicia lives on her family's farm in the rolling countryside of Pawlet, Vermont, with her husband and their three children.

Our Design Philosophy

Every home tells a story. The most meaningful spaces are not designed to look like anyone else’s—they are created around the people who live there.

At Just Kitchen + Bath, we believe exceptional design begins with listening. Before selecting finishes, recommending products, or creating plans, we take the time to understand how you live, what matters most to you, and what you need your space to accomplish every day.

We don’t believe in designing a “JKB-style” kitchen or bath. Every project reflects the client—their routines, preferences, personality, and vision for their home. Our role is to guide the process, bring expertise to every decision, and translate your ideas into a space that feels authentically yours.

Great design is about more than beautiful materials and carefully considered details. It is about creating spaces that work effortlessly, solve problems, and support the way you live for years to come.

Whether you are planning a complete renovation or updating a single space, our approach remains the same: thoughtful collaboration, expert guidance, and a commitment to creating a home that belongs uniquely to you.

Because the most successful projects aren’t the ones that look like everyone else’s.

They’re the ones that couldn’t belong to anyone else.
